Boys No Good- Never Felt Better- Review

Band- Boys No Good
Album- Never Felt Better
Label- Indianola Records
Release Date- July 26th, 2011

Boys No Good are a hardcore influenced pop punk band from Florida. They feature members from hard hitting Florida Hardcore bands Casey Jones and Kids Like Us. Their debut demo had a lot of promise but their full length “Never Felt Better” (being released July 26th, on Indianola Records) takes them to the next level. Jeff Harrell’s raw yet melodic vocals are a refreshing change in a genre with mostly clean high pitched vocals. His voice gives the band a more grown up feel to them. The band’s hardcore roots shines throughout, none of the heavier parts feel forced or disjointed at all. Fans of their previous work will love the new versions of “End of a good day” and “Cut Your Heart Out”, and they are sure to gain new fans with anthems like “Bold City Tigers”. If you’re sick of all the carbon copy Four Year Strong rip off bands, and you want some authentic Hardcore Pop Punk, make sure you pick up this album, you won't be disappointed.
